Using HamroBansa
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you use HamroBansa for a family or organization, you are responsible for having authority to do so.
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Family content and permissions
You retain responsibility for the family information, photographs, stories and other content you add. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload it and to choose its visibility.
You grant HamroBansa the limited permission needed to host, process, display and back up that content solely to operate and improve the service according to your settings. Do not publish sensitive information about another person without an appropriate basis and permission.
Public heritage and corrections
Public heritage contributions should be made in good faith and supported by appropriate context. Submissions may be reviewed, edited, declined or removed to protect privacy, quality and safety.
A public record is informational and may be incomplete or disputed. It is not proof of legal identity, caste, lineage, relationship, inheritance or entitlement.
Acceptable use
- Do not harass, impersonate, threaten or expose another person.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious or deliberately false material.
- Do not scrape private information, defeat access controls or disrupt the service.
- Do not use HamroBansa to make discriminatory, legal, employment or eligibility decisions about a person.
Availability and account action
Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security or operational reasons. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect people, data or the platform.
You may stop using the service and use the available deletion tools. Certain information may remain for a limited period as described in the privacy policy or where retention is required for security or legal reasons.
Service responsibility
HamroBansa is a tool for preserving and exploring family history. We do not guarantee that user-contributed or public heritage information is complete, current or error-free, and the service is not a substitute for professional legal, historical or genealogical advice.
Any warranty, liability, dispute-resolution and governing-law provisions needed for launch should be reviewed for the operating entity and jurisdictions in which the service is offered.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as HamroBansa develops. Material changes should be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their effective date.
